Update on my summer and fall...just living up to the "sporatic" in my blog name!

So I'm finally getting around to updating you on what I did this summer and fall!  As always, I have included pictures for your viewing pleasure :)

This summer I had the chance to put the leadership skills that I learned in the Forge into practice by discipling a group of girls in a program called Baby Ruths.  Six girls who'd just graduated from high school and I served, learned, and grew alongside each other during this 5 week program.  It was very challenging, but it brought about some huge growth opportunities and some great memories!

We did a lot of cleaning, cooking, scrubbing, setting tables, and dishes galore!

We even got to experience scrubbing the inside of a dumpster!

At the end of the program we treated the girls to a fancy tea party.  It was probably the cleanest we had been all summer! :)

After working at camp the first half of the summer, I was blessed to have some down time in Utah with my family!

Andrew got two new kittens (which of course I loved!!) Their names? Sergeant Bobcat & Miss O'Reilly.  Sounds like Andrew huh? :)

We tried mountain biking again this summer. This attempt was much more successful than last year!

Gotta love the jumping pics!

In August I began my first full-time job at Pine Cove as an outdoor education instructor.  As part of our staff retreat we got to swim with beluga whales!

Here are just a few of the animals I get to interact with in our "Critter Room."

This is Waldo, and he is a caiman (looks like a small crocodile). He is one of my least favorite animals to hold because he fights everytime you pick him up!!  Oh the ways I am forced out of my comfort zone...

This program is teaching me how to be a snake charmer!  :)

Well, that's all for now!

Jenny, you're so cute! I like how you're keeping that caiman in line with your stern mother look! lol
